better way to start off day two with a little bit of skin? Juliet Escoria
explores the skin of a room (better known as paint) with skill and grace.
Escoria focuses on the skin in the room. Shedding is part of growing up. Every
seven years a person is born anew with all new skin and all new pieces. People
generally fail to understand how quickly they can change as they live in their
skins hoping for the best and getting the worst. Discomfort happens a lot
growing up and it is a perfectly vaguely natural thing. Friendship is built
around the uncomfortable truth that being alone is scary.
Dean grows up. His entire life before becoming a father is described in extreme
detail. The family that supported him is given the driest possible description.
Everything for him happens quite quickly. Gradual evolution reflects upon how
he ended up in so many unusual situations. Freedom seems to be a recurring
theme as the oppressiveness of relationships builds up dramatically. Lots of

Cicero explores what it means to be middle class in America. Few plan to be
middle class. The traditions they have are warped. Middle class people are
obsessed with propagating. Similar to wild animals the middle class have

moments in time where they do not need to worry about their life goals for
their life goals are so easily achieved.
Bushnell uses boredom to help himself click with the world. Social media apps
are things to try and fill the void of empty moments in a life. He enjoys the
feel of a good black hole. Who doesn’t honestly? The universe is full of this
darkness waiting for the final moment when it reverses the big bang. A body can
be an entire world of wonder. People create their own heavenly bodies and watch
them orbit around each other. Life of being alone is easy at first and become
progressively harder as there becomes a greater need for interaction. Black
holes call out to everyone and look to eat the emptiness inside of people.
Facebook displays emptiness for the entire world to see. Nothing new is in the
black holes of the universe. Routines develop and people simply except them.
Bushnell is a great finisher. Currently residing in America’s heartland, his
readings are full of passion, volume, and face paint.
